A former small-town urban garden will be transformed into a home for the elderly with a spacious outdoor area. The mass of two interlocking blocks creates a public space at the street entrance and a large garden as a private space for clients and their visitors. Interior courtyard lighting creates welcoming communal spaces and corridors, while the majority of the individual units face the quiet zone of the garden to the south.
